Cultural Center for Creativity
The SCCJL will create one of the largest and most dynamic cultural centers in Los Angeles County.
Featuring state-of-the art theaters and studio spaces, unique community events designed to transcend generational and cultural boundaries, and performing arts programs which provide an outlet for the world’s most innovative and cutting-edge artists.
Enjoy an international art exhibition, a world music program, a provocative modern dance piece, a world premiere by a renowned playwright, or participate in a thought-provoking lecture given by dynamic guest speakers – all within the beatiful 19-acre campus of the Southern California Center for Jewish Life.
Exhibition Gallery
The visual arts gallery will feature a strikingly beautiful exhibition space, and a biblically inspired garden and courtyard. We will provide studio space for local artists and will be hosting a diverse range of visiting Jewish and international artists.
Museum Space
The Museum Space will strive to provide unique permanent collections as well as visiting exhibitions which will reflect, express, and explore Jewish values, themes, history, and culture. The exhibitions will allow for a diversity of cultures, religions, and ethnic backgrounds to be joined together through universal experiences, shared values, and themes.
Indoor Theater & Outdoor Ampitheatre
The Performing Arts will bring to our stages the most innovative and cutting-edge artists from the world of dance, music and theater. The season will also feature dynamic guest speakers and community events revolving around the Jewish holidays and political topics of the day. Possibilities include The Festival of Lights: A Hannukah Celebration, an Israeli Dance and Music Festival honoring Israel’s birthday, Classical Music Concert for Peace in the Middle East, “Peace Talks” between Jews and Muslims led by prominent spiritual leaders.
