Bequests and Planned Gifts:
Fund the future of the SCCJL through your estate planning or special gifts. Name the SCCJL as the beneficiary of all or part of your estate in your will or trust.
Gifts of Stocks, Bonds or Real Estate:
Avoid capital gains taxes by donating shares of appreciated stock or real estate directly to the SCCJL. Confer with your financial or tax adviser regarding other tax benefits that may apply.
Insurance:
SCCJL can be named as the primary or secondary beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
IRA Distributions:
If you are 70-1/2 or older and would like to consider making a charitable distribution from your IRA tax-free this year, please contact us.
Tribute or Memorial Gift:
Your donation in the name of a friend or loved one will help support and expand the SCCJL. Tribute notification cards will be sent to your honorees. You can send a personal message of congratulation or condolence in exactly your own words when you make any tax-deductible contribution to the SCCJL in honor of a special occasion (baby naming, brit mila, birthday, wedding, anniversary, bar or bat mitzvah, graduation, yahrzeit, or wish for speedy recovery). The SCCJL mails tribute and memorial cards promptly, and sends donors separate gift acknowledgments. The donation amount is not disclosed to the tribute recipient.
